AREA III SPECIAL OLYMPICS FIELD GAMES
IN PARTNERSHIP WITH INFINITY & STENNIS SPACE CENTER
2021
The Oaks Golf Club
Pass Christian, MS

Previous tournaments have raised more than $12,700 for the Special Olympics games. The tournament paid not only for athletes’ and volunteers’ lunches, ribbons and game equipment at the Stennis field games, but it also supports the State games, held at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi.
We work hard to keep the tournament overhead low while offering an entry fee that even a novice golfer can justify. Much of our profit comes from donations—large and small.
We were also able to offer some great raffle items in previous years, including a team-autographed New Orleans Saints football, an official Hooters golf bag, sports memorabilia from the Mississippi Surge, Southern Miss and Ole Miss Athletics and Fan4Ever.com provided autographed memorabilia from Brett Favre and Jerry Rice!
Now is your chance to shine. Our previous success depended upon community involvement—and that means you! We know the economy is tough, but the Special Olympics games will go on whether the Dow closes up or down. So consider supporting Special Olympics in any of the following ways:
-
Play golf.
Sign up a four-person team to play at the event.
-
Sponsor a hole.
We’ll print a sign with your organization’s name and display it on a tee box all day at the tournament.
-
Play and sponsor a hole.
Save when you sign up a foursome and sponsor a hole.
-
Volunteer.
Volunteer or volunteer your employees. You don’t have to be a golfer. We need help serving beverages, lunch and manning contests. We’ll even pay for your lunch as a thank-you!
-
Donate gifts in kind.
Can’t make it out to golf? Donate an item. Raffle items are 100% profit. And to say thank you, all donors are recognized at the tournament lunch.
-
Sponsor the morning/evening snack.
We fuel up our afternoon golfers with pizza before sending them home. A monetary donation of $500 covers these costs. To say thank you, you’ll get headline billing at the tables with the refreshments.
Checks can be made payable to "Special Olympics."
More information / registration forms will be available in the coming months, so please check back.
